On MBE last Friday Nic played The The's "Beat(en) Generation" and so before refiling the album back deep in the music library trenches, Eric decided to introduce me to his favorite record of theirs, Soul Mining. I've been doing a bit of soul mining myself lately, so I was particularly interested in the track "This is the Day", which inspired me to make some big changes including growing out my mustache.
